Maasai Mara

The Maasai Mara National Reserve is a vast expanse of preserved savannah wilderness located in southwestern Kenya, bordering Tanzania. It is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras, and hippos. The reserve is also known for the annual wildebeest migration across its plains. Featuring grassy plains and rolling hills traversed by the Mara and Talek rivers, the surrounding area is peppered with Maasai villages, known as Enkang's.
