7 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru & Masai Mara
Day 1: Mombasa/Diani - Tsavo East
Depart from Mombasa or Diani early in the morning and drive to Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for mid-morning game viewing, including a visit to Aruba Dam where animals gather to drink water, particularly during the dry season. Continue with the game drive to your pre-booked Safari Camp or Lodge for check-in, lunch, and a brief rest. Enjoy an afternoon game drive from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Tsavo East - Tsavo West
Embark on an early morning game drive before breakfast to increase your chances of spotting more animals before the sun becomes too hot. Breakfast will be served at approximately 8:30 am, followed by departure from Tsavo East with game viewing along the way to Tsavo West National Park. Enjoy lunch and a brief rest at your reserved Safari Camp or Lodge. In the evening, participate in a game drive with a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary, where you might see black rhinos, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, and buffalos, among others. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tsavo West - Amboseli
After an early breakfast, depart from your accommodation for a morning game drive heading towards Mzima Springs, where you can observe hippos and crocodiles from an underground observation chamber. Afterwards, exit Tsavo West National Park and travel to Amboseli National Park, pausing briefly at Shetani Lava Flow for photos. Enjoy lunch and a short rest at your Amboseli Safari accommodation. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to see large herds of elephants with Mount Kilimanjaro as the backdrop. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Amboseli - Lake Nakuru
Early morning breakfast and depart to Lake Nakuru National Park with lunch had en-route. Arrive at the park in time for evening game. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara
Early morning breakfast then depart to the Masai Mara. Arrive in time for lunch at your Safari Camp/Lodge. Afternoon exploration of the Mara then return to your accommodation just after sunset. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Full day Safari Game drives in Maasai Mara
Early morning breakfast then proceed for game drive visiting Mara River for hippos, crocodiles and the migration point of the wild beasts. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Maasai Mara - Nairobi - Mombasa by either air or train
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi and transfer to the airport/railway station for your trip to Mombasa arriving in the evening.
