6-day safari in Tanzania

Day 1 of 6-Day Tanzania Safari Itinerary:

Departure from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park. Commence your wildlife safari by being picked up from your accommodation in Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (additional transfer charge may apply). Travel across the Masai Steppe to the Great Rift Valley, where you will enter Lake Manyara National Park. Spend the day exploring the park, known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingoes, hippos, and various bird species. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park and continue with game drives until late afternoon. Afterwards, drive up the Rift Valley Escarpment to Karatu in the Ngorongoro Highlands for dinner and overnight stay at Country Lodge, Marera Valley Lodge, Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, or similar. Picnic lunch and dinner included.

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Optional visits to a Masai village or Oldupai Gorge can be arranged at an extra cost. Enter Serengeti through Naabi Hill Gate and embark on game drives towards Central Serengeti. Your guide will lead you to prime wildlife viewing spots. Check in at a camp or lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon Camp Serengeti. All meals included.

Day 3: Full day at Serengeti National Park. Similar morning routine as Day 2 with further exploration of the park. Return to camp or lodge for dinner and overnight at Osinon Camp Serengeti. All meals included.

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, head back to Ngorongoro Crater for a day of game drives in the vast caldera. Witness a variety of wildlife at close range, including the Big 5. Return to the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay at Rhino Lodge, Marera Valley Lodge, Country Lodge, Bougainvillea Safari Lodge, or similar. All meals included.

Day 5: Tarangire National Park. Check out from Ngorongoro Highlands lodge and descend to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy game drives along Tarangire River, known for its abundant wildlife, especially elephants. Explore the park's diverse flora and fauna before checking in at a camp/lodge within the park or nearby concession areas for overnight stay at Lake Burunge Tented Lodge or Sangaiwe Tented Lodge. All meals included.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park to Arusha, marking the end of the safari. After breakfast, continue game drives in Tarangire National Park before returning to Arusha. Optionally, be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Domestic Airport for onward travel arrangements.
